Racial Reconciliation Dialog

The St. Barnabas’ Racial Reconciliation Journey Group invites everyone in the congregation to participate in a dialogue about race on Saturday, May 5, 10:00 a.m. to noon. In preparation for this discussion, we encourage you to read Race and Prayer: Collected Voices, Many Dreams, (Malcolm Boyd and Chester Talton, editors). Race and Prayer is a collection of brief vignettes, prayers and cartoons on the subject of race. Whether you attend the dialogue on May 5 or not, you may find the book helpful in considering your own feelings and attitudes towards race, and how it relates to God’s call to us to love one another.
