Make A Joyful Noise Unto the Lord!

Adult Choir

The Adult Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m., and at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays throughout the program year.

The Summer Choir convenes at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings during the summer.  Summer Choir is a great time to "try out" choir without a long-term commitment.

Youth Choir (4th through 9th graders)

The Youth Choir meets on Sundays September-June and sings for the 10:15 a.m. Service eight times during the year, as well as the principal Christmas Eve Service.  Regular Rehearsals Immediately follow the 10:15 a.m. Service (approximately 11:30).  Choir Call is 9:30 a.m. when the youth are singing at the 10:15 a.m. Service.

The Youth Choir teaches our younger members good singing techniques, as well as the customs and liturgies of the Episcopal Church. The Youth Choir is open to any young person who wishes to praise God in song and who makes the commitment to weekly rehearsals.

Cherub Choir (Pre-school through 3rd graders)

The Cherub Choir meets on Sundays September-June.  They sing for the 10:15 a.m. Service two times per year, and for the principal Christmas Eve service.  Regular Rehearsals are 9:15-9:30 a.m. Sunday mornings.

The goals of the Cherub Choir are to encourage each other in our singing, learn simple Christian songs, and have fun. The Cherub Choir is open to every child.

Parish Musicians

A group of parishioners offers their gifts of instrumental music in worship.  “The Band” consists of every interested instrumentalist and plays for the 10:15 Service several times per year.  Instrumentalists may find themselves playing a solo or duo for a prelude or playing for our annual Parish Retreat at the diocesan retreat center, Shrine Mont.

Concerts & Recitals

St. Barnabas’ offers special music concerts and recitals by professional musicians during the year.  Check back for upcoming concerts and events.
