St. Barnabas' is seeking a new Minister of Music! 

We are seeking a part-time (approximately 20 hours a week) Minister of Music. Major responsibilities include providing service music with the adult choir for the Eucharist each Sunday, directing and rehearsing the adult and children’s choirs, and, in general, bearing responsibility for the musical life of our church community.

About St. Barnabas' Music Ministries


The Music Ministries is a servant ministry of St. Barnabas' to the glory of God. The Music Ministries provides strong support for congregational singing of hymns and service music, and special musical selections to enhance the worship experience.


The Adult Choir

The Adult Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. and at 9:15 a.m. on Sundays, one hour prior to the 10:15 a.m. service. The Adult Choir is open to anyone who wishes to praise God in song and makes the commitment to weekly rehearsals.

The Children’s Choir (children ages 5 to 12) 

The Children’s Choir meets on Sundays immediately following the 10:15 a.m. Choral Eucharist. The Children’s Choir teaches our younger members good singing techniques, as well as the customs and liturgies of the Episcopal Church. The Children’s Choir is open to any child who wishes to praise God in song and makes the commitment to weekly rehearsals. 

Parish Musicians

A group of parishioners offers their gifts of instrumental music in worship. 

Recital Series

St. Barnabas’ offers special music recitals by professional musicians during the year.
